A new leak has revealed all the basic details about the upcoming Galaxy A53 5G. Samsung's mid-range model will debut later this month and is now said to be powered by the Exynos 1280 instead of the Exynos 1200 advertised in previous leaks.

Galaxy A53 5G will be launching soon. Many leaks have revealed details about the mid-range phone in recent weeks, but new information now suggests that a key element of the previous leak was at fault: the A53 SoC.

While previous leaks claimed that the Galaxy A53 5G will pack the Exynos 1200, it looks like the phone will actually be powered by the Exynos 1280. While little or nothing is known about the Exynos 1280 at this time, recent news suggests that it will be an entry-level 5nm SoC with performance is somewhere between the impressive Exynos 1200 and Exynos 1080.
